General Information About Masada and the Dead Sea Tour

The tour is private to Masada and the Dead Sea. We start descending into the Jordan Valley and then climb to the top of Masada by cable car and watch well-preserved archaeological excavations, a synagogue, a bathroom, and storage rooms. Once the cable car is restored, then we visit the natural springs in Ein Gedi to see where David hid from King Saul and then we stop at the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls have been discovered and then we go down to the Dead Sea to float in the water and cover our bodies in clay rich in minerals as more time remains We go to rinse the mud in the sulfur pools and then return to the hotel

Tour overview

Your private tour of Masada and the Dead Sea begins to descend across the Jordan Valley with Jericho. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea until you reach Masada. And going up by cable car, to see the path of the snake that King Herod used for thousands of years. Masada was one of the last strongholds of radical Jews against the Romans, as they were under siege over the mountain. Today you can still see the well-preserved synagogue. From here we can see the famous pigeons, the pool and the stores. After going down from Masada, you will visit Ein Gedi, where David is said to have taken refuge, hiding from the wrath of King Saul you will see beautiful waterfalls and freshwater pools. Your next stop will be with your guide to the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls have been discovered and then go down to the Dead Sea to enjoy and float in the waters of the Dead Sea and then cover the body with clay rich in minerals and then we go to the sulfur pool to wash the mud if possible then return to the hotel
